Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The healing technique commonly called ‘palm healing’ or ‘hands on healing’, channels a universal energy through the practitioner to the recipient.

The art of Reiki works on all levels of the mind, body, emotion and spirit, allowing for total harmony and balance to be restored. If your ‘energy’ level is low, then it is said you are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if your ‘energy’ level is high you are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki is a complementary healing therapy which activates the body’s own natural ability to heal itself. Originating from the words ‘rei’ meaning ‘universal’ and ‘ki’ meaning ‘energy’, which translates to “Universal life Force Energy”. It is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use, regardless of belief system.  As in any healing the first step towards a healthier life is a desire to be healed.
